Argentina - Giant hail storm alert...

Seen quite a few storms in my time here but today I experienced my first giant hail storm. We were lucky as we were on the edge of it. I suspect others in the town weren't so lucky.
The storm is heading in the direction of Buenos Aires.

It was ugly here for a while... my parts of town were spared (Palermo and Martinez)... but some of the video Ive been watching on C5N of parts of the South of Buenos Aires have been very bad... Hiddy, thats quite a piece you have there but Ive seen pics of Tennis ball sized chunks of Ice... quite scary. I guess the insurance companies will be busy next week...

Its starting to clear up... lets hope the worse of this storm is over.

The worst was over here a couple of hours ago.

We were lucky I believe the other side of the town were not so fortunate. Glad we had the car under cover. You're right, my wife said she has seen ones as big as a tennis ball that go straight through car windscreens.

Yes... some new video they showed here in Buenos Aires city yesterday was very very impressive...
