Has anyone stayed at this location? It's offering HiltonSave rate of $76.30/night and my other choice is Sheraton @Meadowlands.

Does it have Tower rooms?

Thanks

Wow, no one has ever stayed @this location?

Which NJ (near NYC) Hilton do you recommend?

Thanks

Stayed there quite a bit over the years - 3 story hotel, very long - you might need a cab to get to your room. It's OK, nothing special. I like it better than the Park Ridge Marriott. I use to pay $135/night.

If you are there, go down the block (Chestnut Ridge Rd, off of Tice Blvd) to Aldo & Giani's Restaurant. Great Italian food (Northern), friendly staff. Take a left on Chestnut Ridge, just past Lake/Grant on the left (in a strip mall).

I stayed in this Hotel weekly for 8 months. They do have a tower level (on the first floor). I have not stayed there in the last 7 months so my information may be out of date. The executive lounge is ruled in the evening my Madeline who has a Germanic accent and an attitude to match the soup nazi on Sienfield. The rooms are ok but getting a little tired. There are two well-hidden racquetball courts free for guest use and a very good health club in the basement. The food in the restaurant is good but very expensive. It is set on a very quiet setting which is pleasant compared to most of the other Hotel choices which are curbside to HWY 17. It is often overrun with KPMG employees who have a major headquarters just down the street from the Hotel. I recommend the steakhouse in the Ramada on 17 in Mahwah for some good food at a reasonable price. I think it’s called the New York Steakhouse or something like that. They also have a couple of Tennis courts.

I stayed at this hotel in January 2000 and January 1999 on the first floor. Both years, they had a fire alarm go off for no known reason at midnight on Tuesday night. The firetrucks came, and no one could find a problem. There isn't much around but corporate offices, and it's expensive to get a cab any where. I wasn't impressed with the food selection in the hotel either.

I am going to a wedding in the area and this is the hotel that the bride and groom negotiated a special rate for. I can do slighty better with a gov't rate and then I don't even have to say that I am with the wedding party, so hopefully I will be put in a more quiet area of the hotel. :) Just wondering if anyone had a more recent review.

I stayed in northern NJ just about every week, but never at this hotel. Sorry I don't have much info about it.

It usually works in a way that the newly wed may get a free room, if so many guests book the special negotiated rate.

So if it's not that much rate difference, you might want to consider "helping them out".

Stayed there overnight last year for a wedding. We booked the room on our own, because the rate we got was a bit better than the group rate. The room was fine. It's pretty much a typical hotel - nothing particularly memorable, but no problems, either.

Wow, no one has ever stayed @this location?I did.

It was nothing extra-special, but I liked it. I have stayed there a few times.

Then again, this was approximately 20 years ago...

Any update?
Thinking going there on July Forth weekend for a getaway that is near New York City with a relatively nice outdoor pool.

I wouldn't really call it "near" NYC...30-40min drive without traffic, and then you'll have to park in NYC.

The hotel itself is fine, nothing special but not bad. My company has an office next door so we often put up doctors etc there and haven't heard any complaints. Well, okay, the only complaints we've heard is that it's in the middle of nowhere with nothing for them to see or do after their day of meetings.
