Is it possible that they are trying to make the point, that in times of disruption and cancellations, elal makes sure to get all Israeli's home?

If only they spent the money to make that nice (but dumb) video on the website instead, they could get a positive ROI :)

It's possible that was the intention, but it wasn't obvious. A better idea would've been to get a shot of the flight board showing many flights delayed or canceled on LY flights operating on time.
If only they spent the money to make that nice (but dumb) video on the website instead, they could get a positive ROI :)
