Hilton HHonors - Hilton Conquest or other 50K challenges

I happened to stumble across info on previous 50K challenges (e.g., Conquest), but it sounds like these have all expired. Which serves me right for not paying closer attention to my Hilton mailings. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Does anyone know about any current challenges or promotions (aside from the Double-Double-Dip)?

Mike, I suggest you include your e-mail address in your profile. Then I'd be able to e-mail you the info.

zipper,

I would really appreciate it if you could provide me any information regarding the latest challenge/conquest offered by Hilton.

I have a trip coming up in September to visit relatives and I'm considering staying at Hilton.

Thanks a bunch!

I believe that the EWRDC promo enrollment is open until 9/30/01.

Zipper, are these different than those which can be found using the search feature?

If you are serious, Call 800-hhonors if you have a hhonors account and ask to be signed up for the EWRDC promo.

Just call HHoners and aske to be enrolled in the EWRDC promo. You can search for previous posts to get more info on it. It gives you instant gold status, and up to 50K bonus points

What happens to your Gold status if you fail to stay 4 times in the 3 month period?

You still get to keep your Gold Status. The 50K bonus is for making the 4 stays.

I emailed Hilton about signing up for the EWDRC challenge. This was the response.

"Mr. Berrett,

I am responding on behalf of Adam Burke, to your inquiry regarding the promotion
code EWRDC, as well as your request to transfer HHonors points to AA miles.

...

The EWRDC promotion code corresponds with a promotion from e-rewards, that
enabled HHonors members to earn points by having 4 Double Dip stays within 90
days of enrollment. However, the enrollment into this promotion must have
happened before 6/30/01.

...

Thank you and best regards,

<deleted>
HHonors Customer Service"

How is it possible that by ringing the number mentioned above it is possible to qualify for this promotion? Are Hilton Customer Service wrong? I'd like to try for this myself.

cheers peter

I had two people I work with sign up for this promotion last week. Both registered without any problems.

I gave the info to a friend at work and he successfully signed up on Thursday, 16-Aug.

I asked my husband to sign up for EWRDC on Saturday. The first rep told him that it was too late to sign up, and that all stays under this promotion had to be completed by August 31. When he called back, the second rep signed him up with no problem and said he had ninety days. I wish all the reps would give out the same story! We have four stays coming up in Sept, and after reading the email ffhound received, I'm worried about whether my husband is really signed up or not.(?)

mareh,

I had a similar experience, being told on the first call that the enrollment period had passed. However, a call a few days later yielded immediate enrollment. Several days later I checked my HH statement and found retro posting of bonus miles. Look for the bonuses to confirm enrollment. It's plainly this EWRDC promo that caused me to give Hilton brands a try vs. Marriott.
