Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - What lounge in ORD before LH431?
Hey folks,
I have a 4hour stay at ORD before leaving on LH431 to FRA. What is the best lounge to kill the time? My priorities being free and fast wifi and nice seating as I want to get some work done. I'm *G with LH on a Y ticket.
Is there any chance to access the Swiss Lounge in T5. I heard its supposed to be quite nice?!
Thanks a lot.
Cheers

no way for the LX lounge as TSA won't let you in.
Only options are the RCCs (without free wifi)

The RCC opposite B18 is closest to the LH gates in ORD. As *G you get a free wifi card with a PIN to access the network. Its a refurbed RCC, nothing earth shaking, but better than sitting around the gate.

As usually very helpful. I will try the refurbished RCC at B18 then. Thanks :)

Even if they did, it would have not been very convenient for you, since there is no way to get to T1 airside, and since Swiss lounge opens at 2 pm (I think) to cater to LX9 (7:15 pm departure) passengers.
ORD terminals also provide Boingo Wi-Fi for $7.95 per day, in case you don't get free Wi-Fi at RCC.

All you have to do is ask for a single use access account at the desk

Thanks again for your advise. RCC was indeed one of the nicer ones and I also received a free wifi voucher (without asking) :)
