Hello,
I will be staying at the Harrisburg, PA Homewood Suites next week for my 4th stay under the EWRDC promo.
Even tho I am 95% sure that they do, but just want to be 100% sure.
Do AAA rates qualify for points. I just dont want my Hershey vacation to be spoiled by an anti-climax.
Thanks,
I have used AAA rates many times and have always gotten full points and miles.

I've received points & miles with no problem in the past couple years.
Before that, they could refuse to give you miles and sometimes wouldn't give you points either. But I believe that Hilton changed the rules regarding what rates were eligible a few years back.
Back before the Meadowlands Hilton left the brand, they tendded to be snotty as to whether the AAA rate I was staying at was too low. I believe it was $129 one stay that they felt was too low for giving me either miles or points!

From my experience AAA (AARP but I'm qualified yet) is uaually lowest rates around. However this isn't true at some locations. If each properties set its rates then what's the points of complaining? Just set the rate higher like some. I won't stay there for personal travel though...
So far, I found AAA is the one of lowest double dipping rates around (sometimes even lower or same as value rates)

IMHO a quick answer to this type of question is any rate listed on a HH hotel reservations rate listing gives the points, miles AND stay credit. Itsa the ones NOT listed that can sometimes cause problems.
Thus "Value Rates", "Easy Escapes Rates", "Bounce Back Rates","AAA Rates", "AARP Rates", "Government Rates" etc all give the HH goodies.

Now for those who can find their member benefits handbook, page 5
Eligible Rate Stays are stays at all rates except wholesale/tour operator packages, contracted airline crew rates, complimentary or barter rooms, stays on NET Group, Series Group or IT Group rates, contracted Entertainment or Encore rates, or stays using airline percent-off award certificates.
I had called CC about this before and the agent sent me this handbook.

Coincidentally, today I was needing a quick answer on this very AAA-related issue as I am complleting my 3rd and 4th Hilton property stays this weekend also.
Hilton's web site answered it fairly well IMHO - the answer is "most" of these published fares appear to qualify, while contracted and non-published rates do not.
