Hilton HHonors - Interesting promotions to come

A little birdy told me that there will be promotions coming similar to the Erewards promotion that will enable you to earn up to 50,000 points within a 90 day period

You didn't hear it from me however <wink>!

I wonder if the promo is valid for every FTers or limited one like ex-Airline or Credit-Card!!

Did anyone ever find out if the "DTAX" promotion was valid - mentioned in a previous post ?

These promotions appear to be accomplishing whatever it is Hilton wants them to. It would be interesting to see exactly what kind of impact the promos have had on hilton and its competitors.

Sure thing. If it's true that a new 50K promo is coming, I sure will divert the necessary number of stays from Starwood to Hilton to grab the bonus.

On average, however, SPG is way better at rewarding frequent customers, so in my case, for now, the 50K bonuses will only work to get my attention (and $) long enough to land the bonus for then to return to Starwood properties when possible...

Sorry, I think confused this with different Promo that a particular flyertalker was promoting, but turned out to be false. Sorry for the confusion
