Hilton HHonors - s The HH Platinum AMEX Card Being "ENHANCED"

Over at the Starwood board, some very angry guys are saying The Sheraton Starpoints Credit Card is being "enhanced" and now will cost 30 dollas per year instead of being free beginning in Jun 2002 on your cc anniversary date. An article in Slate goes on and on re the AMEX corporate obfuscation etc.

Anyone hear if the Hilton Honors Platinum AMEX card is being "enhanced"?

I have not heard of it being "enhanced". I just signed up for the hh amex over the weekend, and the website was still promoting it being free. I will be disapointed if they come back and ad a yearly fee.

Not to be greedy, but does anyone know if you can sign up for "member rewards" with the hh amex, and earn both hh points and amex points?

No, you can't earn MR points on HH AmEx.
