Hawaii-based Airlines - Unable to Use Hawaiian Air VISA 25% Discount

I'm trying to book 2 R/T tix online between Seattle and Honolulu (depart 9/30/11, return 12/10/11). I applied for (and received) the Hawaiian Air VISA card, at a cost of $79, in order to obtain the one-time, 25% off discount for a round trip for two between the mainland and Hawaii. The certificate is in my account, with an E-Code. However, I am not able to enter the E-Code on the payment page. I am getting the full fare quote, but no 25% discount. I have entered the Hawaiian Air VISA as the form of payment, but still no discount. I don't want to take a chance and just book the tickets (which is the only option left online) because I might end up being charged the full amount.

EDIT: After locating the rules on the E-Certificate, it looks as though I can access the discount on the top of the search for flights page. Unfortunately, it looks as though the only flights that can be accessed are the normal discounted coach fares. I am trying to book the coach-plus fares (2 free bags + no penalty change) because DH and I will be taking lots of luggage for a 2+ month stay and will probably want to change the outgoing date, if possible). I'm now wondering if I should just call the airline directly, but I don't want to pay any kind of booking fee.

Any ideas?

Well, if you are going to save big time on the baggage and possible change fees, the booking fee might be worth it. You could always ask to have the booking fee waived since what you want to do can't be done on line, but if HA takes a cue from DL and its worthless award calendar, they won't cut you any slack. Finally, I would suggest closely checking the terms and conditions of the 25% offer to see if they allow the discount on the fare class that includes economy plus.

I double checked the terms of the certificate online, and it doesn't apply to First Class or "L" class fares. What the heck is an "L" fare? Anyway, I emailed Hawaiian, and to my surprise, they responded very quickly. They claim the discount doesn't apply to "coach plus" tickets. They evaded my question as to whether coach plus was an "L" ticket, and in fact, claimed that a "unique fare basis code" is used for the Hawaiian Air VISA discount. HUH?? Sounds like they're trying to pull a fast one...:td:

It's not a major blow, but I really would have liked to have that flexibility. I'm originally from Hawaii, so I have options. But this is disappointing. I plan to drop the card at the end of my first year, because I can harvest all the benefits (35K miles, 25% discount and the miles sharing), in the first year.

If my memory isn't playing any tricks on me, L is a very discounted coach fare. I seem to recall it being the fare code for some extra-cheap SYD-HNL tix. Someone else might have more info, though.
