Travel with Children - Family-friendly hotels in Singapore?

Hi, I'm bringing my family to Singapore for 5 days. We have a son who just turned 1. Do any hotels have a place for him to run around and play, something like that?
I assume just about any hotel will have a crib. If I'm wrong please advise.
I'm not too familiar with Singapore but I think the best locations for us would be Raffles/Marina/Business district.
We don't need luxury, just a mid-tier hotel.
Thanks for any advice!
Having been in SIN with a 1 year old in the past, I'd suspect that top priority would be proximity to a train station. Preferably covered access given the possibility of hot and/or rainy weather.
As to play/running around, there aren't that many park areas in the city center. Running around inside a mall might be your best bet.
So ideally you'd want to look for a hotel that is connected or close to both a mall and a MRT station. The Raffles City mall has 2 hotels (Swisshotel & the Fairmont) and is connected to the City Hall MRT. The Orchard area has many malls and has easy access to the MRT. The Suntec City area also has a MRT station and several hotels.

We have stayed at the Hilton on Orchard with our 18 month old. Everyone was nice to her and they had a great pool. Wouldn't excatly call it Kid Friendly, but it wasn't unfriendly either.
The Conrad gives away free Teddy Bears and Rubber Duckies and has a nice pool. That could be fun with kids too.
We stayed in Somerset apartments, can't remember the exact name, but they have one on Orchard Road, I think. There are several different places like this, they generally have a real playroom and a pool.
Sometimes the websites say min 1 week stay but if you call they can be flexible.

Not a hotel, but we loved the children's garden at the Singapore Botanic Gardens when we were there last year (my son was 13 months old at the time).
