You need to allocate a lot of time for TSA and the eating options are horrible. Yes, sometimes C concourse has little wait to get through TSA, but my experience this week is not at all unusual. 30 minutes from reaching the line to checking ID. 5 minutes to find someone to grope me ( I opt out ) and several minutes to grope. 40 minutes from the time I entered the line until the time I got my belt back on.

I love the $5 parking, but it has reached the point where I just stop before reaching the airport to buy meals.

The D concourse has also, at times, gotten backed up, lately. I understand that TSA is sometimes understaffed.

I agree with you about the food on Concourse C. Whenever you have some spare time, before you need to be at the gate, you might want to check out the food/beverage options on D, which include local purveyors. as well as national. With a valid boarding pass for any airline, TSA will let you thru to dine on any concourse.

If you play your cards right and watch the line you are in, it's quite likely you would just walk thru metal detector at D's security.

MKE's food offering are crap. I shudder to think what the previous options used to be. :eek:

Plenty of good options in D, in my opinion. But there is no place that makes a sandwich in C. I hate to stop in the main terminal when I don't know how long it will take get through security.

French meadow bakery on C makes sandwiches. Have you tried it? It's the first place on the left after clearing the C security checkpoint.

I've seen better food offerings, and worse food offerings. I'm not sure MKE needs to do anything.

Is French Meadow going to be replaced by Pizzeria Piccola on C, or is that going into a different space?

I don't know for sure. It will have a full bar and sit down/table service, so the French Meadow spot might not be large enough.
