Choice Privileges - Cambria Suites Bloomington now a Springhill Suites, what happened?

This is a total shot in the dark...

I stayed at the Cambria Suites Bloomington Winter 2010 and by all means this property had yet to reach its peak and it was a terrific (almost immaculate) hotel stay. I am headed back to the area in a couple of weeks and now the Cambria Suites has dropped its branding and turns out it is now a Springhill Suites. Anybody know what happened?

It's a shame I won't be able to expense some Choice pts on this property later this year.

This is interesting: A few of these went from Choice to IHG/Priority Club (Holiday Inn, Express), but there's a lot more hotels (supposedly 700ish total) that were thrown out of IHG/Priority Club around the start of this year (due to not meeting up to brand refreshing standards) and a number of those ended up moving to Choice!
