InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - AMB Renewal - any bonus or referral opportunity

My AMB membership has expired and I have been sent a letter for a renewal fee of $100USD. I wondered if there was a referal bonus or other way to get my AMB status back? I am a Plat PC member and tried using the 3 stay code but this was for new members only.
