Hotel Deals - $13 LaQuintas on Hotwire - various dates/place

As usual this is a snag and drag, too busy to change it arround

$13+tax La Quinta Inns on Hotwire for dates next spring for some hotels in the northeast
Something is going on with Hotwire. They have La Quintas in these areas for $13 next spring. Most dates are in May and June, but some go earlier. It looks like some places are only M-F at this price.

Tried booking Boston and NY area. When I hit confirm, got a message back that hotel not available.

The rates showed, but would not book.

There are hotel prices start at $21 in Phoenix, AZ... but I guess that's normal price

I am digging this up from last August because my reservation is actually 2 weeks from now.
I can bring up our reservation on hotwire no problem however I get the following message when searching on LQ.com using the hotel confirmation number provided by hotwire.

We were unable to locate a reservation based on the information you provided. Please verify your reservation information or call 1-800-642-4271 for immediate assistance.

Anyone have any problems with their stay? At some point I guess I will need to just call the hotel and confirm by telephone.

My stay was in January and I actually had to cancel so I called as a courtesy, the res. was there. You should call, the deal is long gone and as far as I can tell it was completely legit and/or honored.

i had to cancel mine , but i say it was legit , the hotel had my room booked , said i had to call hotwire to cancel it

Everything is on track for our stay in Boston June 11 for 4 nights. I do not foresee any problems.

Had my LQ stay this past weekend with absolutely no problems, and I got the same message on lq.com when I tried to check the confirmation number.

you probably couldn't pull up your reservation on lq's site because hotels and booking sites, agents, etc, use completely different systems, and each system will assign a confirmation number
