I have a JetBlue flight connecting at BOS on Thursday. I am arriving at C12 and departing from the other side of C. While googling around to see if I really had to clear security twice  I stumbled across this article (http://www.patriotledger.com/business/x633530860/Massport-combines-checkpoints-at-Logan-Airport-s-Terminal-C) stating that the new combined checkpoint is open.

Hurray! Only one groping on Thursday!

That's great news. I do a lot of ex-BOS flying, but it's mostly on AA; I had no idea this even was in the works.

Has anyone seen (or have) any photos of the new checkpoints and completed terminal work?

I've got a fairly long layover there on Thursday, so I'll try to snap some pictures from the inside. I'm not dedicated enough go through security more than I have to.

I flew out last week on JetBlue and used the new check point. Big improvement especially since I could wait in the United RCC for my (delayed) JetBlue flight to DCA. It seems they are still working out logistics since some lines had more lanes open than others, two lines were sharing one podium, and the UA Premier Access line (far left towards UA gates and counter) appeared to be longer than the regular lines to the right. Overall a huge improvement but they're still not completely done.

Forgot all about this. I had a long enough layover a couple of weeks ago that I exited the secure area so I could eat dinner at Legal Seafood.

The new checkpoint is behind the JetBlue check-in counters. When I exited ~5ish on a Thursday evening it was a mob scene. I did not snap any pictures because I didn't feel like dealing with TSA if they decided to break their own rules.

After dinner I went back through. There was still a very long general line, but there is a premier line on the left. I don't expect this to go away since JetBlue has announced they will be selling premier line passes in the future, but that may slow down the line :( I just flashed my MP card at the agent and entered the completely empty premier line, happy that they didn't check my ticket since I was actually flying B6. There did not seem to be a NoS free line, so I had to endure a patdown  Patter downer was very friendly at least (not in a weird way :)). The lobster roll I had for dinner was worth the pat down, but I think it's ridiculous that all of the restaurants are outside of security.

There is a long walk between the RCC and the B6 gates. Still a lot of construction going on, and a lot of narrow passageways to navigate. Looks like they are building some restaurants/shops in the area between the two wings of the terminal, so that should alleviate the need to exit security to have a decent meal.

I'm happy they finally fixed this problem. I hate airports that have isolated terminals (LAX!), because I do occasionally book two different airlines (VX-LAX-WN, UA-BOS-B6, etc.). At least all but two C gates at Logan are in one secure zone now.
