MilesBuzz! - SunJet goes bust!!

On Saturday, SunJet airlines went out of business. They served MCO, FLL, and MYR from Newark and I guess had bad business - possibly taken by Spirit.

You know, is this not a broken record? It seems that no matter how hard they try, start up airlines have the worst chance of succeeding..which begs me to ask the question..isn't there a better investment out there for big moneymen than a start up airline? For starters, the costs are high, you are in the red for the first i don't know how many years and then you have to compete against established carriers who cut prices to push you out of the market. Let us pay our respects to the likes of the new Pan Am (Marty Shugru) spelling? who touted his carrier on Larry King, Kiwi, the flightless bird, private jet (atlanta), and countless others who just went bust. Oh well, stick with the biggies or risk getting stranded, I say!
