Hilton HHonors - summer promo 2001

I noticed a summer promo 2001 when I checked my activity. What is this?

Looks like it's the double miles promo. I saw the same thing from a couple of recent stays.

I have yet to see these double miles post, even though 2 stays dated June 1 or later have posted - my understanding is that the 1st stay after the initial stay and all subsequent stays should have qualified for this?

I am going to call now.

Note that the extra miles are posting under "other activity"

and don't forget, you receive double points if you use the AMEX card.

I recieved my summer promo points and miles for my first qualifying stay at LAX immediately. I still have not received any summer promo points or miles for my second qualifying stay at Pasadena (although the normal points and miles have posted).

A call to customer service was, as usual, of no use. I was put on hold forever and then was told someone would look into it within 3-5 days (already passed), but still no points. Since it is obvious they owe me over 1000 points and 500 miles, why can't they just input them manually?

Well, I spoke to a woman at the Gold Desk who reviewed my account, and agreed I had not been credited with the additional miles.

I also had already reviewed the Other Activity section, and the additional miles were not posted.

Be very careful and watch all stays.
