Offer Terms & Conditions
1. This offer is valid every day of the year in one of the participating hotels.
2. This offer entitles A|Club Loyalty and A|Club Favorite Guest loyalty program members, regardless of their status, to benefit from A|Club Desk.
3. You must provide your loyalty card number or member number when making your reservation, and present your card at the reception desk of your hotel when you check-in for your stay.

Now this makes no sense, first off why am I being "offered" this when logged in? I am already a member.

Second, I have only seen one of those desks, at the Novotel in NYC. And I had to wait behind non status people, so what's the deal here? Are they in place everywhere now? (confirmed sightings, please report ;))

Third, who wrote this? It is incomprehensible. This is what it should say:

Dear loyal customer,

Enjoy our new priority service at check in and check out. We are in the process of establishing a dedicated A-Club desk for our loyal customers at all participating hotels. Specially trained staff are there to assist you with all your queries.

And last, a newsletter with programme news might go a long way to communicate with your customers.

I saw such a desk at Novotel Milan Linate 3 weeks ago, but there was no agent behind, so had to queue at normal check-in .
Good idea in itself but badly implemented it seems...

I also saw this desk back in march at Singapore and lately in june in Bali but still no one was behind any of them...

These so called priority desks are rarely staffed no matter which hotel programme one is a member of. Usually all the staff are too busy checking in 'normal' guests and you're left standing alone and being ignored. :D

Exactly my experience at Hyatts and Hiltons. Only once have I seen one staffed at a regular property (under 500 room property), and it was only after I demanded it at Hyatt Regency Baltimore...I hadn't slept in 24 hours and wanted to get a bed.
