Chicago - Ohare/Hotel Parking Question

I read the thread about parking in ohare but havent been able to get a clear answer as to my question.

I need to drop off my car in Ohare on a sat about 8 a.m and pick it up the following day around 2 p.m . I am looking for an indoor (covered) parking area and it seems the rates at ohare parking are quite expensive ( 2 dollars per hour for 30 hours is 60).

I have seen that the hilton offer parking for 50 (non guest) and it is covered and conveinent to the airport. Does the hilton charge per hour or is the 50 just for overnight ( irrelevant when you come in)?

Also how far is the hilton ohare from terminal 1?

Long-term garage parking at O'Hare is $31 per day. 28 hours will cost under $40, I think. Full $31 fee applies over 12 hours, if I'm not mistaken.

Garage is within easy walking distance to the terminals. If going to T1 or T3, take the elevator to Level 4 and walk across to the terminal. For T2, go to the underground walkway.

It is possible that there won't be any covered spaces left around 8 am. Check O' Hare web site for the latest parking availability.

Am I allowed to park in garage A or do I need to go to the specific long term parking area?

Hourly and Valet are on level 1 of the garage
Daily is levels 2-6 of the garage and the outside B/C lots

It sounds like you want daily. That'll be $31 for day 1, plus $12/14/17 for 5/6/7 hours for day two depending on the exact time you get out.

When you're coming into the garage (on the left right before you get to T1/2/3), just stay in the middle lanes, which will take you into level 2. Hourly/Valet is to the right, on a ramp going down to level 1. After you get your ticket, you generally don't get a choice of what level to park on, they'll all be blocked off except for one.

For T1, get to the open level, then turn right and go all the way down, find a spot close to Elevator Center 1 or 2. Take it to level 4, then walk to the bridge (between the 2 elevators) to T1.
