I have the Citi Thankyou Premier card and I am trying to book a flight using ThankYou points today and I am not seeing the 25-33% discount that shows up for Premier card members. It used to work till last week but is not working today.
Anyone else also noticing this? Is this a system problem?

I just tried a test booking, and the discount shows up for me. The "pay in cash" amount is $310, while the "air rewards" point total is 23808. That's about a 23% discount.
It works on mine. Pay in Cash is $138.80 versus 10443 TYPs.
Worked for me too. The $ cost is $294.40 and points required total 22,135.

Hmm...it still dosent work for me. I dont see any discounts. I called the thankyou reservation number and they dont seem to know why it is not showing the discount.

Mine isn't working either!!! Do you guys go to the final checkout? I'm afraid to do that since I'm not sure about which flight yet. When I put it in the cart and even go to the checkout, there's no point reduction at all. This is odd. Ugh. I hope the cheap flight's still there tomorrow when customer service can help.

Yup, mines not working either! And I just got the email from citi claiming 33% off flights...anyone have a fix to the problem?

$0.0133 is actually a 25% discount, as explained in this thread:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/other-credit-card-programs/1184201-25-discount-typ-flight-redemptions-ppe-holders.html
Do you have more than one card which earns ThankYou points?
I do not have a Premier card, but the feature seems to apply to my discontinued Chairman MasterCard. I can redeem 44,165 for a $587.40 ticket. That's the 25% savings ($0.0133 per point redemption value) described in the email, which I have not received.

I just called a spoke to a customer service rep and the supervisor said that there's some issue with their system that they're working on. It only affects certain accounts though which would explain why it's still working for some. (Something about lower tier? if anyone knows what that means.) Said hopefully it will be fixed by tonight.

Thanks for clarifying MIA. I thought it was kind of funny as I only remember getting 25% off flights. - clever advertising for sure.
Thanks for calling balerina21, saves me from calling them and I don't need a ticket right now anyways.
I have no idea what they mean by lower tier accounts. I have the TYP Premier AMEX after it was transformed from the Citi Plax AMEX <--miss that card; Use to get 3% on everything and 5% on Everyday Spending. Have had the card for 2.5yrs now and average spending on it was 1500/month
