This is excellent news. Hopefully this means improved service on LY both pre-flight here on FlyerTalk at the airport and on board. I extend a warm welcome to our new moderator. BTW The first request is to get LY to update their 1800 El AL 747 Flight Information Line its way out of date ROTFL.
I shall be back in Israel in a few weeks time.

Congratulations yosithezet, wish you the best of luck. ^
This forums is so dead for days at a time you might end up asking for an extra form to moderate...

Please see FlyerTalk Forums: What is a Moderator? (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_faq_moderators) The mod is an FT rep to help control the forum (so to speak). He is NOT representative of EL AL!

Nu nu, you know we don't discuss moderation. ;)
I'm happy to be able to help. But it'll be a week or three before I'm in action over here.

And now, a few weeks on, yosithezet is in his new position as the first ever El Al forum moderator. He's been thru his training with eightblack on the Emirates board, and has learned how to use the software bells and whistles that mods can use. If you have any desires for this forum, please let him know. And thank you, yosithezet for being willing to help in the midst of a very busy life.

Thank SanDiego1K and eightblack. And thanks joshwex90 and everyone here in the El Al forum. Looking forward to helping out. I'm literally in the middle of moving into an apartment so please bear with me until the start if he week when I'll open a thread as a temporary open forum to discuss the ideas and adjustments we all may have in mind.
