France - Taxi Cost from ORY

How much can we estimate a taxi cost from ORY to RUE CHARDON LAGACHE - 75016 PARIS on Friday around noon in August? Merci

I have no idea how accurate the World Taximeter (http://www.worldtaximeter.com/paris) is, but it's worth a shake if nobody can offer better estimates, or their experience. (It says ~ €25, for a 20.19 km trip.)

And don't forget to add supercharges for night hours, extra luggage, etc.

How many people?

We hired a van to pick us up at ORY to the Hilton ADT and the price was about 30-35 euros (IIRC). Prepaid with a cc, and the guy was waiting for us when we arrived. There were 3 of us.

The 25 euro figure sounds about right for a taxi, and might well be the best bet if there are only 1 or 2 of you.

We are 2 adults and a 4 yrs old. Should we reserve the van or shuttle or not much different if we go with a taxi when we come out the ORY (convenient for us not to book)?

In 2008, there were 4 of us/adults plus 1 child who took a taxi from CDG. The price was around 50 Euro which I thought was about right and reasonable. I don't know how common to have a taxi that would cheat ...

Have them put on the meter (2.50 EUR flag fall, iirc,) and worry more about delaying traffic... ;)

What outfit did you book with?

I've paid in the 25 to 30 Euro range in the past as a solo, so you should expect some add'l cost for multiple travelers plus bags.

We walked out ORY to a next available taxi. The ride was about 27-28 so the previous messages were right on. We were getting around by taxi for 2+ days ... 7 times and they all were in line with price ... reasonable.

We would comfortable to ride taxi again when visiting Paris again.

On the other hand, London's taxi seems expensive when you walk up.
