No idea why it was cancelled, LY317 was operated by 4X-EAK (763), the aircraft isn't showing up on LIBRADAR since, smells like a tech problem.

Luton had a second flight today which I don't think was originaly scheduled and operated as LY313-314 (which usually is used for Heathrow flights), perhaps was flown to carry passengers from last night's 318.

Just curious, what's LIBRADAR?

The plane had a red light in the cockpit from one of the engines just before takeoff and the flight was cancelled. Some passengers were flown from Luton and a plane from Paris was diverted to London to pick up the rest. The original 767 flew to TLV without passengers the next morning.

Which CDG flight was diverted?
I think it is high time LY realizes that buying old planes make them lose money.

Are you certain? Do we have insight into the numbers?

I guess the cancellation of LY318 didn't make them earn money (I know that it could also have happened with a new a/c) that day :)
But, in general, old planes use more fuel and need more maintenance, so make lose money (although they are cheaper to acquire)
