Other Car Rental Programs (ie. Alamo, Enterprise) - Munich-Vienna

Hi What is the best option to get van (6 people) in Munich for 2-3 days and then bigger van for one way trip from Munich-Vienna. Any links? Ideas? Eurocar?

I did some searching for the other way around last year (albeit for a smaller vehicle). A van will cost you a lot and the cross-border OW drop-off is going to cost even more. If you don't think you need to make any stops between MUC and the Austrian border, take a train to Salzburg (can get tickets for as little as EUR 15 a person bought through bahn.de) and pick up a rental from there if you intend to make stops between there are Vienna.

When I checked last year, it was lots ( I think it added EUR 100-200 to the 4-day rental of a small car). It may be worth your while for 6 people over train fare though. YMMV.

Why don't you check the price difference yourself...although, do note that sometime one-way fee is not added to the total and will be charged at the point of pickup.

the one way drop of charge will be not below 180 EUR with any major car rental company.
