A real retrograde step as my old ones currently have a 10 year life.

lots of the sameness with other FFP and claims to be the best and give something more than other FFP eg. lounge access for gold members - which FFP dont give this?

I'm guessing from you previous thread about Gulf Air that you are obviously trolling around for making up to your bad travel experience with them.

As I am relocating, I looked to join the Gulf Air FFP but found the online enrolment form would not accept my birthdate. I wrote to Gulf Air and received the return receipt from my email - but no reply a week on.

Is this standard service for Gulf ?

No, this is abnormal since I've done my membership through online and through online its seems that everything is working fine. have you tried faxing or calling them?

A week on I have had a reply and will email my data since the online form still will not accept my birthdate. Thanks for your reassurance.

Sure there are a few benefits but not as many that they would like us to believe.
What are they offering that is truly different than other FFP in the region?

Do they really have the largest network in the Middleast? I just would think Air Arabia did.

Revamped does not always mean better.
