Newb here...
Not sure if this question is in the right place or not...
Never flew out of SeaTac...was wondering how much time to arrive before my flight leaving Seattle on a Saturday night..to be exact..the 23rd of July... Its a domestic flight ...Flight is scheduled for +-8:40 pm give or take a few minutes. 2 hours like the airport website recommends seems way too early but I don't know.. what do you guys think?

Are you checking bags? Do you have elite status? Will you be checking in online ahead of time?
I'd say 90 minutes with bags, 60-75 minutes without is a pretty safe bet

I agree with the time recommended by the other poster. Security is kind of hit or miss....I have had it take 10 minutes to an hour. There are a couple of points to go through security, so if one is a bear, try the other entry. In general, I have always had SEA be pretty easy to get through.

Note that as the hour gets later they start closing checkpoints. I showed up a few weeks ago for a SEA-IAD redeye on UA, the whole N/D checkpoint was shuttered at 1000p, had to hike in the wrong direction to the central checkpoint, then retrace my steps airside. For the same reason, don't assume you'll breeze right through at odd hours. With only one checkpoint / three lanes going for the entire airport, security still takes 20-30 minutes.
