Dear all, thanks for reading this thread.
I just called Enterprise rent-a-car location at Orlando airport (MCO), and then also called the Enterprise "Port Canaveral" location, and these two different location's staff gave me different answers. Basically, I already reserved a car to pick up @ Enterprise MCO location on 7/16, then planning to return it to MCO same location on 7/24. However, after I booked the car 4 months ago, our travel plan changed, and now I'm hoping to pick up the car on 7/16 @ MCO, then return the car on 7/19 to their "Port Canaveral" location and then join a cruise. After the cruise, we will rent another car from Hertz for just one day, to go to Kennedy Space Center then heading for the MCO airport.
The MCO location staff told me that I can NOT return the car to their Port Canaveral location. However, the Port Canaveral staff told me that YES I can (and there is no extra charge for this). So I'm confused. Does anyone here had similar situation before?
The other question I had is that currently I'm getting a great deal for weekly rate of $139 / week, so for 8 days (original booking), it would end up like $226. However, if I return the car on 7/19 (which only 4 days), would I still be able to qualify for the weekly rate? Or I would be charged with daily rate, which can be really expensive? Any experience about this? Thanks
