Iberia Airlines Iberia Plus - Any chance for IB to fly to UK Domestic or LGW?

I was thinking that maybe IB should start flights to the UK Domestic market.

As BA does to many destinations in Spain.

Also would make more sense for IB or IAG to start flights to between LGW and MAD or BCN as LGW is BA's second Hub, that way IAG will allow to the Spanish customers access to BA's destinations exLGW (Caribbean etc.).

Do we have any information about that? If they plan such a thing, or my thoughts doesn't make sense?

It will be more likely to be vueling...hence no points for OW...

Prefer to see vueling/JetStar alike to get more involved with OW parent company since they are taking away lots of OW routes...

This is something quite a few of us rant about on the BAEC, there was a regular LGW-MAD service and also LGW-SVQ up until a couple of years ago.
