GLBT Travelers - Anyone been to Blue Moon in LV recently

Has anyone here been to the Blue Moon in LV in the past year? I am in Vegas this weekend and on Sunday one of my friends mentioned going either there or Luxor to use the pool. I liked the pool party at luxor but it wasn't a very good environment if you wanted to just soak up the sun and read and swim.

I also bought a day pass last year when I was in LV for June to blue moon on a Saturday and the place had gone downhill but they had just filed bankruptcy. The recent reviews on TA for this year have been positive for the hotel itself, so it looks like they improved there. Just wondering if anyone that had been to the pool this year had any thoughts.

My buddy was there 4th of July weekend. He was a little disappointed that the video room is gone now, but other than that the pool was fun! :)
