South America - Priceline bidding for Santiago (Marriott)

In case anyone here should be searching for a good hotel price in Santiago -- the Marriott Santiago (Las Condes) seems to now be participating with Priceline bidding.
I won 3 nights Santiago Marriott @ $81 per night for next March 9-12 (plus a total of $14.00 fees). I'm very happy paying $85 per night there :D -- even if it means no MRs.
Hope no one objects to my reporting this here, as the online travel agency FT page (at Travel & Dining) is not somewhere most would look for a Santiago hotel.

Well done. I wouldn't have been too surprised if you got a price like that this time of year (dead of winter) but for late summer I'd say you got a very nice hotel for an excellent price.

So is the Marriott the only 4* participating in Santiago? Or might there be others?
I'm heading there for 2 weeks with my 3-year-old daughter from August 2-17th, and so now I'm thinking about doing a Priceline bid just to get us through the first few nights while we figure out how/where we're going to spend the rest of our time there. I was originally thinking of getting a rental for the full two weeks from airbnb.com, just to have a "home base", but I haven't been entirely happy with what I've seen, owners have been extremely unresponsive, and I've seen a lot of listings with "no children allowed".

Thanks -- I am VERY happy, as the jigsaw puzzle pieces are coming nicely into place. We're doing 4 weeks of travel in S.A. (EZE - SCL - MDZ (this segment with bus to see the Andes!) - IGR - GIG) before boarding a cruise ship taking us back to Europe. The Marriott is costing us just half of what we had reserved the Park Plaza for. O.K. no breakfast included, but that's no problem. And now we can stop at the Dominicos again.:)

I have never seen any other Santiago hotel posted on BB for a PL win, and really didn't expect to have much luck.

I didn't know Priceline did South America at all...so thanks OP!
How far in advance did you book? Did you use zonal permutations?
