Hilton HHonors - buddy system exchange

Anyone HHonors people wanna exchange numbers? I am Diamond and do about 60-70 nights a year. I didn't know about this! This would be cool...

sorry about the confusing above post, it was supposed to be a reply. but anyway, i read about Hilton having a buddy system where you exchange HHonors numbers and when a buddy stays at a Hilton, you get 1k points.

I would be interest in a switch, I stay at a hilton an average of twice a month when I am at corp. headquarters. I would stay at HH hotels more often if they were more widley available in Europe. I can be counted on for a 24K bonus a year (at least). You can email me if there is any interest.

I understand that you can pick 4 buddies but is there a limitation on how many people can pick you?

At one time, many years ago, HHonors sent forms to members asking them to solicit new members. The form had a place for your HHonors number. If the person you solicited did join HHonors, you got a 1,000 point bonus for each stay that person made in the next year or so. That may be what you're thinking of.

I haven't seen those forms recently. I think I may have one or two somewhere in a drawer, and I'd dig them out if the promo is still on.

Hello all -- Actually, we don't currently have a referral bonus program in place, but at the time we did, it was only intended for existing members who referred new members to the program. It did not apply to existing members collecting points for stays by other existing members.

As you can imagine, this was specifically intended to reward HHonors members for recommending the program to associates who weren't already in the program.

Consequently, the referral bonus that some of you have described (i.e. -- current members receiving points for each other's stays) doesn't exist.

Rest assured, though, we'll continue to come up with rewarding promotions that provide significant earnings opportunities for our loyal customers!
