Hilton HHonors - Gold Help

I Fast Tracked to Gold, Yay me, anyways I had a stay and the checkin Slip said I was only Blue.. This happen to anyone else? WHen do I before Offical Gold? How can I make sure I am gold my next stay?

Hi Adam - Hope you are still looking in on this topic. I was hoping you can answer a question about the Fast Track to Gold. I have been reading so many posts from people that are at lower levels than I in the HHonors program (I'm Silver), or brand new members, that are immediately being upgraded to gold when they enter this promotion. I will have no trouble making Elite this year (would have made it last year, but was using another program until I discovered I liked HHonors better), so really am not worried about making the next level, but I am wondering why my account wasn't upgraded immediately. Are all these people really gettng up to gold that easily? And if so, why not someone that is already Silver with legitimate stays at HHonors hotels?
