My silver renewal tracking period ended the 30th of July, and I took my 24th flight the 29th, the fligt hasn't posted yet and when I logged in online it shows I'm basic again. Will it automatically put me back to silver when it posts or shall I give Finnair a call?
Thanks.

I am not sure if they will do a re-calculation a few days after tracking period ended. They do seem to be very quick with these re-calculations, I had my account status updated the same night the tracking period ended, which surprised me because of the "allow 3 weeks for points to get registered to your account"-rule.
But I think you can wait until the trip is posted and then give them a call if it didn't work.
I am quite sure they wait a few days/weeks before issuing the card for next tracking period. Your current silver card should be valid until august. (I am guessing you meant that your tracking period ended june 30.)
Please post here again when the last trip is registered in your account, I am interested in if and how this situation is handled.

So I called Finnair, as my flight posted and I stayed on 0 flights, so apparently thevflightd didnt count on either the previous nor the new tracking period. They didn't see it on their computers either, as everything was at 0, but they said that they'd look in to it and call me back today, still waiting, I shall post back as soon as I heae anything.

They called me now, and said that the last domestic flight (HEL-OUL) that was my 24th, was not in Y class, and did not count as an status qualifying flight, although I chose the most expensive price for the flight that there was "Turisti joustava" or flexible economy, but they said that as the computer gives you the cheapest flexible economy price, even if it is not in the booking class "y", which I could not have possibly known, and they listened to the recorded call I made to their Finnair Plus customer service number at the time of booking and decided, as it was out of my control, to keep me as a silver anyways, which I think is a very nice gesture of them.
So indeed, a heads up to you who are booking domestic flights in "Y", or flexible economy, it might be better that you call Finnair to book it instead so you're sure to make it a SQF.
Thanks for the nice service as usual Finnair!

I wouldn't give them credit about that portion. In my books that was the only and right thing to do. I would have demanded a refund for my call expenses also.
Great to hear that you got everything sorted out.

Well, in the worst case it could have been a rude "no", but she was also very polite and wanting to help. So I was pleased.
