After almost 30 years I have passed the 3 million lifetime points[not base points, of course].
How many of us are there?

Congratulations! I too would be interested to know how few of you have made it to the 3 million point club.

I have been traveling for about 20 years and will reach 2 million points this summer. But thanks to the new Hyatt credit card and several meetings booked at various Hyatt properties, the third million should come rather quickly.

2.8 million in 10 years. 1.1 million are base. But if you roll up wife's account, 3.7 million in 10 years, with 1.6 million base.

Well done Mr. & Mrs TheSilb! That brings to mind a favorite saying of my first boss -

You can marry more in five minutes than you can make in a lifetime! :D

Did Hyatt acknowledge this achievement in any manner?

Only my lifetime diamond status which I love. But nothing for 3 million points.

How can you view lifetime accumulation of base points?

You have to call CS.

You have to call CS.

Another way to do it is to open the account detail, then select "display all", then copy and paste the resulting data into excel, and sum out the base points column.

Well, I don't know about others, but the only acknowledgment I got was my lifetime diamond card (which was quite welcomed and a great acknowledgment!). But no, they don't specially recognize the passing of any points milestones other than this, at least as far as I know.

Thanks! I did marry well, a tribe of beautiful little kids to show for it no less...though I have the kind of wife that these days refuses to fly in business class on any 3 cabin aircraft!!

wow, 3M hotel points is impressive. Much easier to rack up airlines miles than hotel points, IMO.

Did the above, but my stay info only goes back to March 1995. Most of my Hyatt activity was late 80's-early 90's.

Any way to retrieve that activity online?
