If a (gold) elite member receives an upgraded room with access to concierge lounge, but is traveling with a non-member spouse or whoemver, is that other person welcome to use the facility? I would belive that a comped breakfast would be solely for the elite member, but I'm fuzzy on the lounge access part. Thanks for the help.

The benefits of an upgraded room go to the people staying in that room - spouse or room-mate included, guests in other non-upgraded rooms not included. Most Concierge lounges will let you bring an individual or two into the lounge without question, even though the policy is to charge those guests. I suppose it depends on how obvious the violation is.
