S.P.A.M. - Chase $150 for opening account

Given all the Chase credit cards I've signed up for recently I am getting spammed with offers to open a bank account and they throw in $150. Terms seem pretty light - must do a direct deposit of at least $500, there is a no fee basic account and $150 posts after first direct deposit hits.

I have some spare coupons if anybody wants. Nothing wanted in return other than good karma. Seems an easy $150

Got the same offer in the mail yesterday. Mine appeared targeted (my name was on the coupon, so I don't see how I could share this). The letter indicated that it was related to my recent sign-up for a Sapphire Preferred card from Chase.

i double checked the one i have does not have my name on it, just a unique code

I haven't heard back from ma91pmh yet but I did a little research and have some information that might help anyone else looking for the $150 new account bonus.

As ma91pmh mentions the coupon codes are unique but do not appear tied to individuals and/or specific accounts! The offer seems to be related to new Chase Sapphire card applicants but it appears that anyone can make use of the coupon code when opening a qualifying new account.

I stumbled upon a link on the Chase.com site that generates a new and unique code each time the page is refreshed.

According to the above the offer expires July 15, 2011.

All the terms and conditions are spelled out at the bottom including the ones ma91pmh posted.
