When I was checking my points balance online recently, I noticed I was missing a credit. HHonors has changed their website and now have a 'missing stay' link. I gave it a try, entered the details of the stay in the form, and what do you know, within a week, full credit of the points and miles.
No on hold phone calls to CS, or finding the hotel receipt to fax.
