Swiss International Airlines - LX has A380?

I just booked LX632 via Aeroplan.... My itin shows Aircraft 321, but when I call LX office they said I was assigned row 94. I ask if that's a Airbus 380 and the guy said no, it is a 321.

Can someone explain to me where the heck is row 94 on a 321? Or is it a 380 (but I can't find LX 380 config on seatguru)

LX doesn't have A380 and their A321 doesn't have row 94.

So clearly something is wrong here :p

No, LX doesn't have any A380, though LH has one named "Zurich". ;)

I seem to remember a similar question in this forum. I think 94 is a code LX uses internally. Even LH A380 doesn't have row 94 IIRC.

That's why I was puzzled by the agent. I asked him twice about my seats and he insist is 94F that's why the only reason I ask if it is a A380.

I hope it is not a seat in cargo hold...

Will call LH again and see if I get another agent know what he is talking about...

It's a temporary seat assignment for flights on which the real seat map has not yet been loaded because they don't know yet where they'll put the Y/C cabin divider. Check back a few weeks before the flight.

Interesting information to share... (maybe it is in FAQ somewhere I didn't see)

Called LX again, and when she reads 94F she knows is business class... and this is what I just learn...

In their system, somehow it starts from Row 99 and goes down... (forget to ask if this is only applicable to business class)

so, Row 94 is actually Row 6. I just rebooked to row 11, and she tell me the system will show row 89.

1 = 99
2 = 98
3 = 97
4 = 96
5 = 95
6 = 94
7 = 93
8 = 92
9 = 91
10 = 90
11 = 89

and so on...

Damn, I totally forget LX's fake C cabin... Should of look for real F/C cabin for my AP award booking.. too late for now. :(

Do you really need a huge F seat on a ZRH to CDG flight of 1 hour ? LX seats are ergonomic and the service is way better than on UA. Not tested AC....

Not F, but at least a real J seat would be nice. Not some Y or Y+ faking as J.. :rolleyes:

Reading you other posts I assume you booked something like (YYZ)-YUL/BOS/JFK/ORD-ZRH(LX F)-CDG(LX C)...

So, which other *A carrier would you have chosen for your award booking if you knew about "LX's fake C cabin" at the time of booking?
