A friend recently stayed at a hotel where a company was organising a conference and paid for her room. I got her an A|Club number and told her to give it to the hotel at the check in to begin earning points in the program. When she attempted to do so, she was informed that her company which is French had already done so for itself. For flights, I undertstand that this is impossible. The points belong to the flyer. Is the situation different with hotels?

If it is booked on a corporate rate, things might be different. It is also possible to get airmiles credited to a corporate account instead of the actual flyer.

Unless i'm mistaken you can get both for Flying Blue (individuals) and Voyageur Rewards (corporate)
