What is the best and easiest way to get from Brussels Airport to Amsterdam Train Station?

There are plenty of direct Intercity and Thalys trains in between Brussels and Amsterdam. During day, they can run as frequent as every 30 minutes. Absolutely nothing to worry about. I don't know about Dutch/Belgium train websites, but a quick check on sbb.ch (Brüssel for Brussels, Amsterdam is the same) shows a lot of direct connections (or several 1-stoppers as well, but the time difference isn't that much, they're running all around 2.5 hours +/-

FYI. Tickets on fast trains are priced as airline tickets, so the earlier you buy the cheaper.
To get to Amsterdam Centraal, you'll depart BRU for Brussels-Midi and then change to a train headed towards Amsterdam. You can also change at Brussels-Central or Brussels-Nord.

I take the IC often including today. With discounts the price is €25 in 2nd class and €40 in first.

That is out of date. The Amsterdam train no longer stops at Brussels-Nord. And there really isn't any benefit to buying in advance on the IC. There is for the Thalys, but you have to go to Brussels-Midi to pick that up.

The railway station at BRU airport (http://www.brusselsairport.be/en/passngr/to_from_brussels_airport/train/) is located underneath the main terminal at the lowest level. There you find a ticket office. Operated by Airport City Express, trains run every 10 to 30 minutes throughout the day and early night. The journey takes 20 minutes. The Airport City Express connects to the three main railway stations in Brussels: North Station (Gare du Nord), Central Station (Gare Centrale) and South Station (Gare du Midi).

Traveling to AMS by train from BRU you have a choice between the high speed train Thalys ( http://www.thalys.com/nl/en/) via Antwerp and Rotterdam and the regular intercity train via Antwerp, Roosendaal, Dordrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague and Leiden. For the Thalys ( http://www.thalys.com/nl/en/) you have to connect at Gare du Midi. For the intercity you can connect at Gare Centrale or Gare du Midi.
