Just finished an eight day trip to Lebanon. We were pleasantly surprised to see many Christian shrines, monasteries, convents and churches there (mostly in the North). They have a long tradition of survival in the face of foreign occupation. We heard many inspiring stories there. Even some of their Catholic priests (Maronite Catholic Rite) are married.
