Sixt - Sixt - How long to process credit card?

I rented a car for a week from Sixt from CDG terminal 2F and returned the car on Thursday. It is now the following Tuesday and the transaction still has not posted to my credit card. I am based in the US and used a US credit card.

When I returned the car I was not given a receipt and the agent told me this is normal and not to worry about it. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi,

I rented a lot of times at CDG (especially 2F), I never got anay recipt (Most of time, I drop back the car very early in the morning, when agency is closed). You could also check on-line, through SIXT website your invoice, to verify that no extra-charge was applied.

Dauphine, good idea. I checked and everything was on the up and up. It is kind of a strange way of doing things. They guy I handed the car over to was barely identifiable as a Sixt employee, for all I knew I handed the car over to a complete stranger. What also threw me for a loop was that the number of Sixt parking spaces was reduced to only about 8. When I picked the care up there were nearly to 25.
