Hilton HHonors - quick and easy 30,000 Hhonors

I'm pretty sure that most of you out there have already figured this one out, but since I just realized it, I thought i would post it just in case it helps someone.
Here it is. Sign up for the continental onepass for you and your spouse. Then, both of you purchase a $99 prestige pack from continental: http://www.onepass.com/packs.htm
Each pack includes 7,500 miles, several upgrade and companion coupons. It's well worth it. The miles will transfer to Hhonors for 15,000 each. Thus, assuming you are married with a joint Hhonors account, you get a quick 30,000 points for only 200 bucks! not bad. Plus, you are also getting all those coupons and upgrade certs...

I hope you have better luck than I did with the prestige pack. I was credited the miles, but as a newly-minted OnePass member, I was laughed at every time I attempted to use the upgrade certificates. They're not transferable, so I had to throw them all away. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Point of interest-one can only transfer miles in increments of 5000, so the transfer between one couple only equals a total of 10,000 miles for 20,000 HH points. 200 dollars for 20,000 points, about the same rate that they will sell it to you. Also, my wife and I haven't been able to use any of the coupons.

I'm in Australia and Continental let me buy one.
