Chicago - Which hotel?

I'm going to Chicago in November for a conference. Out of all the conference rate hotels, I have narrowed it down to the Westin Chicago River North, Hyatt Regency Chicago, or InterContinental Chicago. I'll probably be bringing my significant other.
From Tripadvisor, it seems that the Westin is nicer. However I only have Gold status with SPG, but I have Diamond at Hyatt and Platinum with PC. Which hotel should I go for?

In my experience, I've only seen tiny rooms at the Inter-Continental. Hyatt Regency and the Westin have nice rooms and the Westin has a great lounge, too. Or at least had when I was there last. If you're Diamond with Hyatt, then you may get a fabulous room at the Hyatt Regency. It's closer to Magnificent Mile than the Westin River North, anyway.

The weather could be nasty in November. If location is of any importance, the Intercontinental is probably the best choice as it is right on Michigan Avenue. For some reason, the Hyatt and the Westin in November make me think of cold rain whipping me in the face as I try to walk anywhere. Of course there are always taxis. :)

Conference location is key given that. Where's the conference?

Excellent point. I forgot about the conference. I was just thinking of "being." :)

Thanks for tips all. Conference is at McCormick Place West Convention Center, but they will have buses that pick us up from all the hotels, so not too much of an issue. I'd rather stay near the river and Magnificent Mile. I ended up picking the Hyatt Regency because of my diamond status, even though this might not be the nicest hotel I could have chosen. I'm sure it will be great though. Thanks again
