Do any of you know how long it takes for faxed missing folio's to get posted for credit to a Hilton HHonors account?.

I am just starting to stay with some frequency at Hilton prpoerties and I am having a few problems getting my stays to post correctly and from what I have read, this seems to be the norm!.

It varies - generally a long time. I am
in week #5 of waiting and HHassles advises
that I should be patient as it will be at
least another weeks.

Well, I hope you're in this for the long haul! I just had one posted after four months, which included faxing the folio three times, calling three times and sitting on hold for longer than I care to admit, and mailing in the folio once. I would have quit my efforts, but this was a BIG folio. Good luck and much patience!

Call Customer Service and complain. The last time I complained, they gave me 2000 bonus points because I had been inconvenienced.

chihuahua- I know this is not going to help but all I can tell you is "Good Luck!" Been there, done that. I'm a Diamond VIP that have switched to Starwood.

I had two stays from May that took over a month to post, after I faxed in copies of the bills. I still have one from June 11 and one from June 20 that haven't posted and one from May 9 which posted $800 short. I talked with a gal named Gina at Hilton on Friday p.m. who assured me that if I faxed the info directly to her, that it would post, correctly within a week.

Here's hoping. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif We are almost platinum now so I don't want them to drop anything out.

Incidentally, Mark, I have had pretty good luck with upgrades as a Gold so I am still willing to hang in there as seen what Diamond has to offer. If I don't like it, I'll join you at Starwood.

I have never had any problems with Starwood. Only very good luck with postings. When I have sent an e-mail to check on something, they have responded very quickly. I still have one e-mail that I sent to Hilton customer service over two weeks ago that they have not answered yet.

On my last four Hilton stays. One did not post with the frequent flier points and I had to call to correct it. One did not have my partner bonus Hilton HHonors points and this other one just has not appeared. Hum not doing so good so far. One posted correctly.

I guess in some ways I prefer the Starwood program, but I do like the double dipping, if it works and in some cities I have no choice as there is no Starwood property.

From receipt of the faxed copy how long should I leave it before calling again, any ideas?
