Hilton HHonors - DL flight redemption award is no more

According to my most recent HHonors statement, effective sometime in October you will no longer be able to redeem HHonors points for flights on DL. However, DL will still participate in the HHonors reward exchange. Any idea why they are pulling out?

No, but effective around the same time there will also be no more DL awards with Hyatt ... I doubt that's a coincidence ...

Interesting! DL also has limited redemption options with some of the ClickRewards vendors.
