A pretty shocking story of a Frontier Captain that had a quadriplegic passenger and his mother removed from his flight, citing safety concerns.

With every paragraph, I grew more and more outraged. I understand the pilot's point of view but this is the most salient point:
Steve Cowell, an aviation safety consultant, told 7NEWS the pilot should have called airline managers for advice on handling the issue.
Ahh!!! Ignorance is NOT bliss!
I don't understand the pilot's point of view.
The man paid his fare, we have laws requiring carriers to take disabled passengers, and the pilot gets to exercise his ignorance and prejudice without his employer explaining to him how it's supposed to work?
Depressing.
:( knowing how hard it is to travel with someone with disabilities when things go well makes instances like this even more upsetting. I can't imagine how the family was feeling. I am sure it will make them more wary of traveling in the future.

The pilot should be disciplined, but after seeing the airline's "apology" it does sound like anything will happen.

The administrators at Frontier need to rise up, first they say the pilot did his job correctly and then they say he made a mistake, to summoned LEO to board the flight to remove (imitate) the passenger is SO overboard! Not only did this PILOT break FAA regulations but he also broke a few FTA and ADA regs as well. For the freaking airline to not fess up at this point makes it very clear, they do not want those with disabilities to fly them!
