I'd appreciate any help getting attention from customer support.. can't get thru on phone.. emails go unanswered.. missing stays, bonuses.. it's bad enough to have to audit constantly because of frequent problems w/ crediting stays... help would be appreciated

Merger has been brutal on them, sounds like they tried to save money and did a horrible job of planning, but that's why there paid big bucks.

You might try the old fashion way, and write them a letter. Detail you missing points and include back up. It might take a couple of weeks, but it will not interfer with your time while waiting.
The phone system seems to require 15-20 minutes of waiting. You decide. The fax machine is also often busy.
Hilton will, and I believe is, looking to improve their horrible response time. The addition of properties at Hilton, does not seem to be going as smooth as some of the other chains.
When you have tried by writing or by waiting for the phone to clear, and then still have a problem, that is when to ask for the help you are seeking. We do not want to overtax this resource. My opinion.

I honestly see little difference re pre-merger and post-merger other than the not too nice www.hilton.com (http://www.hilton.com) site is down far more often post-merger, and the acquired Promus hotels are still not yet included. A step backward IMHO.
I still see only 50% of my stays being properly and automatically credited to my account. Upgrades do seem easier but still require a request or begging at check-in about 50% of the time. IMHO it can not be that hard to correct.
Excuse the gaffe! Thanks for the input.. certainly don't want to abuse any access to genuine help.. I'll try the writing approach.

I've found that once I get through on the phone, they are usually fairly helpful. Its tough not to get steemed on hold sometimes, but if you make a little conversation / joke with them, (i.e. You must be really busy there, I bet you've worked a long day) they are willing to help you out with whatever possible. Just my experience. I even had a guy credit me a 'On Hold' bonus for being patient. I was pleasantly suprised! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
