Hilton HHonors - Hilton/ US Airways promotion

Is it true that the Summer Hilton HHonors Double Dip promotion, when US Airways is selected as the Double Dip airline, will result in doubled Hilton HHonors base points? Plus the US Airways Double Dip miles?

For example, if my Hilton stay would generate 5000 base HHonors points, and I select US Airways as my Double Dip airline upon check-in, I would receive 10,000 HHonors points plus my Hilton elite bonus (added to base points only) plus my US Airways Double Dip mileage. If this is the offer, it is way better than selecting the other airlines as the Double Dip airline for this promotion.

Anyone know if this is true?

This was taken directly from Hilton website.. called "mid year promotion".. entered keywords: summer double points bonus..

However,I will also add that it's a better deal w/ AA.. you get a 2000 mile bonus after two stays.. at 500 miles per stay double dip, you would have 3000 miles .. w/ US doubling, you would get 1000 miles for each stay, so after 2 stays, you only have 2000 miles. I know, I know.. I should get a life and not know so much about these deals!
