Orlando - MCO security line for gates 60-129: stay to the right

6/14 I once again endured the godawful security line for MCO. What a bunch of clowns.

When entering the lines for gates 60-129, stay to the right. If you go left, there is a high probability you will for some unknowable reason be sent through the ridiculously slow nude-o-scope.

I risked meeting Mr. Latex by asking the TSA goof, "So just because I randomly picked this way to go instead of the other, it will take me 45 minutes instead of 10 to get through here?" She looked at me as if I had 2 heads.

The line snaking right moved probably 4 times faster, even though it looks at first glance much longer.

Or, just sign up for Clear and it will never take more than 30 seconds to get through.

Agreed! Is MCO the only airport in the country without Priority Access line for TSA?

I blame MCO's agreement with Clear for the lack of airline elite security lines. I'll be glad the day that it's gone and either an airline or new "official trusted traveller" line takes it's place.

Even though I left out of Gate 40, because of this thread, I walked towards the right & spied the "Expert Traveler" lane that had hardly anyone in it.

I was through the line & out of security in less than 10 minutes,

The rest of the lines had huge numbers of passengers. :eek:

So when I am on the security line I make sure I don't get on the scanning machine line by heading to the right?? I don't know if that would always work. The TSA people in MCO can be brutal.
